How we work with others.
Casina is small and selective about partnerships. We say yes to relationships that strengthen our editorial work and decline ones that don't.
What we say yes to
Data licensing and syndication.
Researchers, journalists, and educational organizations interested in licensing our calculators or methodology for their own use. We've worked on this on an ad hoc basis and are open to formalizing.
Editorial collaborations.
Subject-matter experts in finance, psychology, behavioral economics, or specific life-transition domains who want to contribute reviewed content or methodology to our platforms.
Affiliate partnerships in financial products.
FinCalcs maintains affiliate relationships with vetted financial products — primarily personal finance lenders, credit-related services, and savings tools. These partnerships are disclosed and do not influence editorial content.
Press and academic citations.
Journalists and researchers using Casina platforms or methodology in their work. We respond promptly to citation and verification requests.
What we say no to
Sponsored content.
We don't accept paid placements within our calculators or content. The line between "tool" and "ad" is the only thing that makes the tool worth using.
Editorial influence.
We refuse partnerships that require editorial review by the partner, content approval, or "preferred placement" arrangements.
Lead generation as a primary business model.
Our affiliate work is bounded by editorial relevance, not optimized for lead volume. We turn down partnerships where the economics require us to inflate placement.
